If this is for Vogue India, where are the Indian models?
Or are we perpetuating the white is beautiful so those with darker complexions feel they need to buy dangerous products to lighten their skins...Is vogue being responsible?
Why is it that although I live in the Far East that millions of beautiful women here insist on whitening products they don't need and fashion magazines and advertising continue to feature porcelain white impossibly flawless skin on their models?
I do absolutely agree with you and did think the same about the lack of Indian models, but I just liked the editorial - was not condoning the methods of advertising in any way! Hope it has not offended you x
