I love this coat!!!! I found it at a bootsale in a big pile of clothes which I think had come from a house clearance, so i filled up a bin bag of items and this gem was amongst them! I really love the way it is tailored and its an authentic vintage one. I have added a brooch to give it a bit of a lift and have paired it with a wooly jumper, leggings, and skirt which is from urban outfitters.
I actually forgot to mention before that I have been listed in the weardrobe top 100!! I was so happy to see myself there, and the book is going to be at New York fashion week which is huuuugely exciting.

Thanks to everyone for the lovely comments left xxx
Love the pictures and the outfit.

ReplyDeleteDespite the pile of nan clothes still creeping me out a little from the weekend, this coat justifies our bargain hunting. I actually love it, and want you to wear it at fashion week. But if you dont mind, could you always stand a meter away from me, as I dont really want to touch it.
ReplyDeleteAnd as for the weardrobe listing, im so so proud of you, my stylish teacher and inspirational speaker!

ReplyDelete& you look so pretty on it <3
I love (or hate, as I'm so envious haha) how you always seem to pick up the most gorgeous vintage things at boot sales, in charity shops etc...okay, i've had some great finds in charity shops before too, but what you find is always absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteThis coat is by far the best item of clothing I've seen in a while...and it suits you perfectly, especially with the brooch!
Heartheartheartheart
How do you manage to find all of these amazing vintage pieces?! The coat is absolutely stunning, and looks beautifully tailored :) You'll have to let me know which car boot sales you go to!

Congrats on Weardrobe!
ReplyDeleteI loovvee your boots, I found a really similar pair in a tiny shop down an alleyway in Ireland.
:)
Would you mind checking out my blog?
ALSO. I write as a hobby, and I'm writing a novel at the minute. I was looking for a name for the main character when I came across your blog. Do you mind terribly if I use your name as a character name? It would fit perfectly.
