Your Tears Are Only Alibis

The outfit - Topshop jumper, Levi's cut off shorts, vintage belt, H&M leggings.
I've been getting lots of emails or comments asking what makeup I use, and what skin products I use to keep my skin clear - So i thought I would answer you all with a post!
To be honest I don't really buy a lot of makeup, I stick to the things I know and don't spend much money at all. I'm not sure how available these brands are in other countries outside of the U.K but the ones I stick to are Rimmel, & No.7 simply because they are cost effective and work fine with my skin. Oh and I forgot to add mascara into that picture, but again I use one from Rimmel.

Sorry for the awful pictures - the lighting using the inbuilt camera on my laptop is not really the best!
In terms of skin care - I don't do anything! I think i'm just naturally blessed with good skin. My only rules are to wash off every trace of makeup before sleeping, and wash my face with an exfoliating face wash every morning.
So, thats it! If anyone has any other questions then do feel free to email me and i'll get back to you a.s.a.p.

  1. tow things:
    1) i LOVE the top!! i've got a sweater that has the same colors and pattern going on, except mine looks so nerdy! i like yours a lot because of those fabulous sleeves.
    2) i love the makeup transformation, too. what i like best is that even though your eyes change a lot, your lips always have that full shape, even without the makeup.

  4. Thanks for doing this post. I'm starting to think I try too many different makeup products! The people with the best skin seem to be the ones who do the least with it. I'm definitely going to look at the Rimmel stand the next time I'm shopping, usually I walk right past it.

  16. Constance, the problem is that you are just Tooooooooooo beautifull. Your task for next week should be to make the Ordinary..... Extraordinary. Also take a look at Frank Herholdt as a photographer. I think you might like his style.

  19. Gorgeous photos. I love that you stick to affordable classic brands. I think that's the best way. I'd love for you to do a video tutorial on how you get those perfect cat eye flicks with your makeup.

  20. i LOVELOVELOVE your post title. i have cursive lyrics inked into my skin- that's how much i feel them to my soul. ugh, they keep me young. "the worst is over" & "staying alive, kicking and screaming"
also, you are absolutely blessed with such great skin! so lucky! what sort of exfoliant do you use? i'm looking for a non harsh one..
also, totally diggin' your look. and i don't normally love the cutoffs. though, i think i might embrace a new cutoff look that will have nothing to do with denim.

  22. I loved your cat eye flick. Also, a question: is the concealer Rimmel too? I'd love to know which one exactly - I had the Anti Fatigue concealer which sadly, didn't work with me. Your works great - and I'm wondering which is it? Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks :)
