Yay, new stuff! Well... newish stuff.. I got a few parcels in the post today of things I have been buying on ebay. I got these Topshop Unique jeans which are a little hard to get over my hips but once there they fit beautifully! Also got this jacket (another topshop item). Then later in the day I went to look in the charity shops down the road and found this checked shirt from 'Kimichi & Blue' which is a brand sold at urban outftters. So all in all a good day for bargains.

I wanted to get everyone's advice on an idea I have been toying with regarding my hair.. I saw these pictures on 'studded hearts' and am tempted to go for this ombre gold highlighted look with my hair. I used to dye or cut my hair all the time but recently Ive left it all natural and its become a little boring. Not sure whether I could pull this look off? My roots will certainly be dark enough to give a good contrast! Let me know what you think...
I think this would look gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteLove curls in hair..!
Char x
I think it would look AWESOME on you. Go for it!
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit :)
ReplyDeleteLovely, it would totally look great on you :o
ReplyDeletePanda xx
I have this kind of hair (just two times longer :p ), but it is almost natural.
ReplyDeleteI discoloured my hair years ago and -even if I've tried to dye them again- they have always faded (especially during my holiday at the sea).
But pay attention to discoloration: at the beginning my hair were a bit orange! (but every head is different, actually)
I love your dark hair. It goes so well with your complexion! I think you might need to build up a tan if you're going for lighter hair... just a thought.
ReplyDeleteP.S. your outfit posts always make me miss England sooo much... car boot sales and Topshop... *SIGH* I wish I could go to London again =( or just ANY part of the UK really, I'll settle for that =P
i love the way you dress, its soo cute! and sexy!
ReplyDeleteOh I love your blog so much! I really would like to steal your wardrobe too - I wish I could buy great clothes all the time!
ReplyDeleteI think you should go for the hair, although it looks great as it does atm.
Once again I love your blog and I'm very jelous of you!

you should totally do the ombre thing, you can definitely pull it off!
ReplyDeleteps i love your layers- that checked shirt is so cute
Maybe not gold highlighted, but kind of a dark -red highlighted.
ReplyDeleteIts just that everyone is wearing gold highlights in their heads and its becoming sort of average. Different is good.
wow those are pretty amazing (& cheap!) high-street label finds. i get what you mean about the hips part, i get that with my jeans too lol & ohh i actually really really like your hair now i think black suits you!
ReplyDeleteI think you will still look fab with that highlighted hair.. I am already excited to see the output!! ^_^
ReplyDeletefantastic outfit as always. i say go for it! i'm loving the ombre and you can pull off anything as far as i'm concerned!
ReplyDeleteWow, great outfit! I love grunge style. :)) And speaking about the hair, I think you should totally do it!
ReplyDeleteYour dark hair and fair skin are gorgeous. Keep that beautiful mane of hair and NEVER get a tan! You'll be so glad you didn't in 10-15 years.
ReplyDeleteyeah, i love u got new thing!! so cool this look!!

yes for sure on the hair, i love love love this look, i think its so rock'n'roll. my hair isn't as long as the pics you posted but ive got the lighter ends and im dying for it to get past my shoulders and start looking like a mane of golden edges.
ReplyDeletealthough i do prefer the 2nd pic, where the lightened bits are lower down, much more natural-looking than the first.
i used to work in a hair salon and everyone wants this look but i don't think just anyone can pull it off. you gotta be pretty-but-rocky, delicate-but-grungy, sophisticated-but-vintagey. you are all of those thinsg and more, so i say go for it! good luck x
