Stars Fading But I Linger On




Something a little different to usual.. I don't wear a lot of pastels as they tend to wash me out due to my pale skin, but thought I would give them a go. Its colder again after our brief week of sunshine so i'm back to layering ( which is what I like to do!).
Vest dress is from Mango and was a gift from Ebn a few years ago, Blouse is vintage given to me by my mother, Cardigan is from Topshop, and denim shirt is Wrangler - bought at a boot sale.

    You're such a pro at layering! I LOVE this!! I need to copycat this outfit. I also am totally lusting for pastels this season, but I understand your worries about it washing you out. I think it looks good though, you don't look washed out at all.

    i was afraid of pastels too! for the same reason, but i think on pale skin it has such a great effect, you look amazing. i love the layering of this

    you should wear more pastels...you look so feminine and soft...I am pale as well so I have the same problem when I fall in love for some pastel item...but in the end I realized that pastels can go with white skin very well. and you are a perfect example.Love your layering!

    Nevermind you're pale, pastels suit dark-haired, so you look very nice in it. also I like so much these pastel photos, they are fairly and beautiful indeed. Subtle breeze after hot days!!
