Whilst I had the beautiful designs by Alice Warner hanging on my rail waiting for me to shoot, I couldn't resist the opportunity to do a few pictures in them myself. ReplyDeleteTo the anonymous comment above - Its not actually meant to be worn as a dress. It was designed by a conceptual lingerie designer who was inspired by 'insect structures' and a lot of thought went into the concept. Maybe it is a bit too out there for you - but you are entitled to your opinion! I just wish if people were going to leave negative comments they wouldn't have to hide behind the 'anonymous' title.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure a lot of work went into it, but I still don't think it looks nice. It doesn't look like a dress or lingerie or anything in particular, just awful rags. I guess since fashion is supposed to be a subjective art form, I should find the beauty in this, but I can't - which is a shame as I absolutely love most of the things you post on your blog (otherwise I wouldn't read it!). I don't think my comment was negative simply because I didn't like it, and like you say, it was just my opinion.
