Ebn and I went to look around the beautiful Highgate cemetery on Sunday. It may seem a little morbid I guess but personally I found the place beautiful and quite serene.
Heading home to use the English countryside in a photo shoot. Will reveal the results soon!

Such an "original environment" to take photos, but they are great. It seems "mystic"
ReplyDeleteWe do not have the same in france

I visited Highgate Cemetary earlier in the year, it is a lovely place
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's really morbid, I love cemeteries, I think they are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAlso peaceful.
And I like to read the headstones and wonder about the people connected to them.
I don't think it's morbid as well. I find the cemetery a peaceful place and suitable as a final resting space.. For a shoot I'm not so sure if it's taboo.

I adore cemeteries. Unfortunately the cemeteries in Australia don't have the same appeal because there's nothing old enough... I love the cracked headstones and those covered in plants. We have a few cute old ones but they're all tiny family plots and therefore don't have such a strong effect.
ReplyDeleteI think it is beautiful...great pictures!xx
ReplyDeleteThis is the most beautiful cemetery I have seen! Not scary at all but mostly beautiful and sad place at the same time.
