A Battlefield Of Love And War

Wearing: Vintage maxi dress from a charity shop £5, Emma Cook for Topshop boots, Vintage tan belt, Cardigan from a boot sale.
The necklace Im wearing is from a cute little company called 'Wallpaper Rose Jewellery' Which was actually created by a friend of mine. The designs are all hand crafted and lovingly made to a high standard - and are far more unique than what you will find in high street stores. Visit the store here or find more info on the blog and Facebook page.

I Gave Myself In That Misty Light

Messing about with my new lens...
EDIT: Just for those who were asking, the lens is a canon 50mm 1.8.

Pull My Heart Away

I got the loveliest surprise this morning in the shape of a parcel from 'Motel Rocks'. I have always been a fan of this brand and have had my face pressed against the windows at their stores many times so it was so exciting getting some of their new pieces! I will spread out the items I got into posts over the next few weeks to show off how gorgeous they are :) First up is this nautical style body suit which has a plaited neck line detail. I have paired this with high waisted culottes from urban outfitters, and a vintage waist belt.
I had never worn a body suit before last week but I think they are fast becoming my favourite items to wear due to their comfort and amazing fit...

Does The Moon Weep At Dawn

So, I got this gorgeous parcel of items from Warm Pixie the other morning. I am so in love with this bodysuit. Its fits perfectly and It is comfortable and easy to wear with loads of things! The mesh insert sweater is also the softest sweater I now own. Thank you Warm Pixie!
Take a look here at their other gorgeous pieces here : http://warmpixie.com/
Other items I am wearing include jeans from Zara, High socks from ASOS and vest dress from Mango.

The Body Breaks

Just some portraits I took recently whilst messing about with my camera. My freckles really show up in the first picture.. As does the blonde in my hair. It's only when I look at these pictures I get excited about my hair actually being long again - This is the longest it has been since i was about 18? Yayyy!

Stars Fading But I Linger On

Something a little different to usual.. I don't wear a lot of pastels as they tend to wash me out due to my pale skin, but thought I would give them a go. Its colder again after our brief week of sunshine so i'm back to layering ( which is what I like to do!).
Vest dress is from Mango and was a gift from Ebn a few years ago, Blouse is vintage given to me by my mother, Cardigan is from Topshop, and denim shirt is Wrangler - bought at a boot sale.

Magic Spells

Another beautiful dress from http://misspatina.bigcartel.com/. A huge thank you to Holly who sent me another two gorgeous items. This one is my favourite so far, so pretty and summery!
I have teamed it with a jacket I bought off ebay a while ago, some vintage boots, and knee high socks from asos.

In Print

I was recently interviewed for Swedish magazine 'Sofis Mode' and today I got the result in the post! So exciting.
Huge thank you to Annika who made this happen x

Kiss And Resolve

Outfit today is a blazer from Jigsaw which I bought on the bootsale for £1 yesterday. Hotpants are cut offs I made from Topshop jeans, White plain t-shirt is from Topshop and the boots are the Emma Cooks.
I thought I would share this beautiful piece of physical theater by the DV8 company. It is called 'strange fish' and I watch it in awe every time.
